Heart Valve Prototype

While working on my advance degree at the University of Irvine, I was selected among other to create, build an artificial heart valve capable of self adjustment. I spent numerous hours working on the project and when it was time to unveil our results to a special group of medical, engineer professions, the heart valve failed to perform any of the functions we knew before hand during test to function, just failed to perform any. My jaw dropped to the floor! But then, suddenly the valve began to open and close. A tear of joy ran down my face.
