PCBs are all about getting electrons from there to here
FIRST Supporter
In many, many years of being involved in FIRST robotics I have found the students outstanding examples of good sportsmanship, ethics and the “gracious professionalism” core to the organization. But above all, I respect their creativity and ingenuity in putting together working (mostly even robust) solutions to problems they could never imagined mere months before.
This ad-hoc PCB is one such example. It may not be pretty, but the team needed a way to get power to those LEDs to give their camera the illumination needed to find a target. While taking a Dremel tool and black paint to a piece of copper clad may not impress quality the fine folks at UL, it certainly impressed me.
